Albert A. Villaneda
Mr. Villaneda, Associate Attorney, obtained his J.D. from Loyola Law School. During his legal education, Mr. Villaneda was awarded the Dennis Beaver scholarship, which enabled him to study law at Cornell Law School’s Paris Summer Institute at the Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne Law School in France. The Institute welcomed a select group of law students from around the world to study law in the heart of Paris. During his last year of legal studies, Mr. Villaneda argued before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit on behalf of an indigent petitioner against the United States government. In that same year, Mr. Villaneda also clerked for the Honorable Steven J. Kleifield, sitting in the Los Angeles Superior Court.
Prior to law school, Mr. Villaneda attended the Chapman University where he obtained his B.S. degree in Business Administration in 2006. Thereafter, he worked in the finance industry as an Investment Analyst for several prominent investment management firms until he decided to pursue law.
Prior to joining HAMRICK & EVANS, Mr. Villaneda worked at several prominent law firms representing clients in a wide range of areas, including: medical malpractice, wrongful death, general liability, breach of contract, and real property actions. Currently, Mr. Villaneda defends entities in primarily catastrophic bodily injury actions.
Mr. Villaneda is admitted to practice in California state courts and the Central District of California.
